Lively 'Hoods is an Austin, TX organization spearheaded by Maggie Duval that envisions lively, vibrant, sustainable, intentional micro-communities in which every member is engaged in meaningful, collaborative and engaging work and play, centered around the pursuit of wildly creative right livelihood, as we believe that right livelihood is the foundation of true sustainability. To further our vision, we produce, present and promote innovative, iconoclastic approaches, perspectives and practical tools to foster this inner sustainability. Working in synergistic partnership with visionary teachers, healers, artists, creatives and thinkers we present leading edge, unconventional, experiential and transformative events, art happenings, gatherings, conversations, lectures and get-togethers.

We seek to explore common sense approaches to living that feed and sustain us on all levels, rather than sap our energy and leave us listless, frustrated and stressed. We are all about giving our energy to ourselves and our community, instead of feeding the "Matrix."
